The Human Torch, Toro, and Pickles.

Dear Ones, there will be no post tomorrow in honor of Veteran's Day.

Meanwhile, let's check in with the Human Torch and Toro in Golden Age Captain America #19: 

Okay, I don't get it.  If you didn't want the boy to eat pickles, why did you pack pickles?  Someone needs to wrap their brain around the concept of "entrapment."

And, of course, there's trouble:

Now, Toro... you had plenty of time to eat pickles.  We all saw it, so no fussing from you.

And then they find this:

It's not funny, but it's awesome.

Meanwhile...

The Torch will literally burn your ass.  We're not figuratively speaking here.  He will burn. Your. Ass.

And as things progress, we learn of a power that I didn't know the Torch and Toro had:

Underwater Telepathy.

I know, right?  Chew on that, Aquaman!

Pickles.  It's a fun word to say.  Pickles.
