Have you tried switching browsers? Sometimes blogger won't let my Firefox upload pics, but is more than happy to let my Explorer do so.

Yup, I was having the problem too.
It's probably my fault because I'm switching my blog from LJ to Blogger.
Blogger in fact completely collapsed for a while on Sunday when I did my first test post.
So just blame me! ;-0
