The Love of Which We Cannot Speak Its Name Monday!

Let's start off the week with Action Comics #81, or as I like to call it, Cavalcade of Disturbing Images:

Eeesh!  Don't tell me!  Please don't tell me!

Oh, my.  Oh, my my my.  I don't like where this is going.

Wha?  Wait... surely this isn't

AAAAUUUGGGGHHHH!  Kill it!  Kill it with fire!

Okay, she's clearly taller than the full grown man she's addressing, so I'm not sure how he's reconciling that whole "little girl" thing in his head.  This is just wrong.  We'll pick it up again tomorrow!

Okay, I don't have the issue in front of me so I can't check, but aside from the one with Santa, is that Lois and Clark in alla those panels? Cause if it is Clark is clearly the taller of the two. It just seems that he is seated in the last panel there. Was this a story where something weird happened to make Lois young or something? It is abit confusing with no point of reference from the rest of the story and just three panels to go by.

Was that Clark in the last panel?

Dear Penthouse,
I'm just a mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan daily so I never expected this to happen to me, but with some help from Santa Claus and a co-worker in a schoolgirl costume I had the most incredible day of my life...

It was NOT Clark in the last panel. Lois was going undercover as (I'm guessing here) a child around six years old. It's every bit as bad as it looks.

So...she is about four inches shorter without the hat?

Did this issue come out before or after the Ginger Rogers movie "The Major and the Minor"?
