Ted Knight is obviously a pseudonym. His real name is Lishak and he's off to meet Mark Lansing.
Thank you. That always bugged the everloving bejeezus out of me.
I suppose a fanwank explanation is that he's glowing all the time so nobody can make out his facial features... in which case why wear a costume at all? Aw, I give up!
you know, blockade boy, I accept that explanation with Black Lightning, because the guy is always drawn with bright sparks shooting out of his eyes, but Starman is often drawn just standing around talking to people looking like a regular guy with a fin on his head. Are we supposed to be so distracted by those things on his ears?
It covers his hair! Obviously that hides his true identity. I mean, he could be blonde or brunette, or even bald for all that anybody knows.
