Today is Labor Day, and Mike Sterling reminded me of an album I once owned (owned, and kept hidden from anyone who wasn't publicly as large a nerd as I). So, to give my self a break and yet keep you duly entertained, here are the songs from this classic album:
Sadly, this was about the level of cheese they put into comic book-related merchandise when I was a kid. You people under the age of thirty have no idea the crap we endured from all directions. NO IDEA!
See you tomorrow!

Perhaps I should digitize my Voices of Marvel and Scream ALong with Marvel flexi-discs (with the Merry Marvel Marching Society theme)?
Actually, I don't have to, because you can find it HERE... http://www.dograt.com/mmms.htm
It's true, whippersnappers. We would take anything we could get.
I've still got my LP of this. The excitement I had that there was Justice League merchandise out there (I got my Mom to buy mine at Osco Drugs) was far beyond my dissapointment at the line-up. Seems almost OK now, but at the time, only Aquaman and Flash were even members of the JLA.
I forgot all that after I heard the terrible thing...the Metamorpho theme and the roll call have been stuck in my head since 1975...
Sigh
The Plastic Man song at least has some amusing lyrics. I suppose it helps that Plas was already a somewhat silly character, so a song of this sort was less likely inappropriate.
