I'm guessing this scene is taking place at a high school debate club and the crowd is made up of 100% spazmatic nerdenheimers. The second they leave that little room and re-enter the high school jungle they're all gettin' wedgies.
But...but he's wearing a mustard yellow suit and a bow tie! Yellow!
