Because nothing makes you cooler to your peers than a pamphlet that has pictures of Bing Crosby and Bob Hope riding their bikes.
I don't think that would have made you cool even in 1948. I think that's the equivalent of having a picture of Robin Williams mowing his lawn. It's different, but it ain't exactly gonna burn up the bandwidth on Ebay, know what I mean?
