Okay, I understand why during hazing someone would strike Superboy with a paddle, but who is using their hand? To me, if there's anything involving your hand and my behind, you better have my permission in writing.

Umm, didn't they accept Howard King and deny Arthur Dark? I bet old Howie has a silly hat, but Artie can't afford one.
Uh...Why would ANYONE want to hang out with this bunch of dorks? Personally I am a member of the Convivial Codfish Chowder Society. And WE don't wear silly hats!
Doesn't the Legion have similar hazing practices? How else do you explain Tyroc's costume?
