Say that Again? pt 2

It seems like Johnny's being kind of a schmuck here. Yeah, Reed, I guess if you can smile with your troubles, I can buck up. I mean, if I were you, I'd throw myself under a bus...

Aw, this is Johnny's way of being "supportive" I mean, Reed DOES have a lot to worry about at the moment!

Hulk anyone?

As I recall, this conversation took place in Times Square on New Year's Eve when Reed is looking forward to a new year and a new start. So naturally Johnny has to go and remind Reed that Sue just left him because he effectively lobotomized their kid to keep his powers in check.

Nice passive aggression there, Torch.

oooooo, very close, Brad. Your memmory was better than mine, but in this particular instance, Sue had left Reed because she felt Reed was objectifying her, only seeing her as the mother of his child. Sue would later leave Reed for the reason you cited, then again for leaving the toilet seat up, and then once again for tying up the phone lines in the Baxter Building by illegally downloading mp3's online.

Great recall, though. Everything else was right on the money! Nice of Johnny to rub Reed's estrangement from his wife and child in his face, wasn't it? :-)

Thanks for setting me straight. It's been a while since I read these issues.

(Regardless Johnny is still being a dick)
