These are the greatest names for henchmen, ever. I'm just gonna shut up and let you bask in their monikers. From World's Finest v1 #23:
You would buy the heck out of a series called Frogskin, Scat & Hammer. Don't act like you wouldn't.
And, while I hate to spoil the moment, look carefully at the right hand side of that last panel. I'd swear the guy was shooting himself in the face.
And I expect everyone to work in the phrase "There's your freezer!" at least once in casual or formal conversation within the next 24 hours. You have your assignment, now scoot! Scoot scoot scoot scoot scoot!
See you tomorrow!

I seem to recall that Robin specializes in getting people to "accidentally" shoot themselves in the head.
freezer scat!!!
How do you FIND these things? Not that I am ungratefull for this Silver Age sillyness but I wonder how? Hmm special powers maybe...
Was there ever a time when hoods wore lavender suits with matching hats? Or lime green plaid suits with matching hats? I appreciate their dedication to a theme, but Robin should be beating them for their crimes against fashion as much as anything.
Mike, believe it or not, I just plow through issue after issue looking for things that catch my eye. There's no science to it at all. Some stuff is more likely to have silliness than others (for example, I don't read anything written in the last ten years expecting to find much), but it's all just a matter of reading things until a little switch in my brain goes "What the?"
Yay, a new catchphrase! I was getting worried that my usual "Now you're cookin' with gas!" was getting stale.
ha thats great! so the lavender suit fanatic is called 'scat' and robin is saying 'there's your freezer. . . scat!' ha ha ha oh dear. who's henchmen were they?!
robin should probably have some punchlines ready before hand, course then we woudn't have this!

I wonder why they called him Scat. Hopefully the reason was more along the lines of Ella Fitzgerald and not, well, you know what.
I had thought about that, De. I'm not proud of it, but it had crossed my mind.
