MINE MINE MINE MINE!

You know, I understand that in Stan Lee's world, Reed had to keep a lot of his inventions close to the vest, lest the Red Menace of Communism learn his secret recipie for banana bread or something.

But it seems to me like if you invent this:

you have an obligation to share it with the world for no other reason than it would save a lot of lives. I mean, I have a buddy who is a patent attorney, if you're worried about all that.


Criminy! It's like the Baxter Building is a rave for underwater breathing pills!

Unfortunately for Reed, he happened to be under water for one hour and ten minutes, thus leading to the brain damage that has been plagueing him in Civil War.
