A Sudden Change of Plans

Dear Ones, I'm afraid I will be out of pocket until Tuesday, June 24th, 2014 with work-related goings-on.  So, much as it pains me, I'll be seeing you at that time.  Until then, stay safe and do nice things with your new-found free time!

    I had never heard anyone use that term to mean that until now. Urban Dictionary to the rescue again.
