"That's the Gearest"?


Ok, maybe "reet" is a word, and there is actually some historical basis to "Sportin' Life." Anyone want to try and explain, "That's the gearest"?

    "Gear" was another of those groovy 60s hipster teenage sayings - fairly equibalent to "fab." I learned it from my lifelong Beatles' obsession.

    Though I think he should be saying simply "That's Gear!" "Gearest?" Methinks Stan is trying too hard to be hip, Daddy-O.
