Valentine's Day Thursday!

Hey, hey! It's Valentine's Day, so find your steady sweetie and give her a big smoocharoo! And if you don't have a steady sweetie, just remember it's better to be single than to be with the wrong person. Wrong people like:

Lana Lang. Apparently, you can save countless lives and defend the very planet upon which she lives, but you're dead to her if you put on a few pounds.

Ma Kent. On the plus side, you'll know if she's cheating on you because she can't keep her pie-hole shut about anything.

And let's not forget Superboy, the younger version of the most insufferable character in comics. You know, if you joke about doing something schmucky, like he's clearly doing here, then the schmucky deed has crossed your mind. That makes you a schmuck.

On an unrelated, self-indulgent note, I turned 40 today. Your sympathy is appreciated. Also, Beloved could use some sympathy, because when you are married to someone born on a holiday, that holiday tends to fall off the calendar. So, Happy Valentine's Day, Beloved! Kudos to you for sticking around!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Was the first one before or after Superboy did his double take over Bouncing Boy's heavy set girlfriend?

Poetic justice, perhaps?

Tell her that she should be happy to celebrate a birthday over VD ;-)

Happy birthday, pally.

Happy Birth-entine's Day!

I turned 40 a few months ago. Don't think of it as the End of the World.

Think of it as a constant reminder of the limited time you have left on earth and how little you've accomplished in the time you've had.

Happy b-day.

Ye gads--how did anybody read comic books back in those days without their heads exploding from the sheer, mind-numbing stupidity?

My Goodness! Happy Birthday AND Valentine's day. May you forever wallow in chocolate.

How the Kents still have the farm, I'll never be able to figure out. I assume that Ma Kent gives out her bank account number and social security number to any bozo who asks.

Happy belated Birthday, Adam. If I hadn't been out of town I would have said so earlier! I'm still getting caught up.

Anyway... I'm not sure it would matter if Ma did cheat on Pa, because he's champion at getting past bad news. "Well, you may have killed our adopted son and doomed humanity, but let's move on now!"

Just because Ma Kent told the aliens that Kryptonite was harmful to Superboy doesn't mean that they can easily find it!

Is it Animal, Vegetable or Mineral?
Gas, Liquid or Solid?
They've not been told even that it's the GREEN stuff they need to find.

Kryptonite doesn't have its name printed on it (Actually in a Silver Age story it maybe sometimes might) so how do the aliens know what to look for?
