I Know I'm Way Overposting the Elongated Man but I Just Can't Help Myself Wednesday!

Hey, when Ralph stops, I'll stop. From Detective #360:

The deadly Ear-Chin Falcon Punch!  I used it all the time in Mortal Kombat.

To be fair (and considering the hard-boiled journalist I am, I clearly have to be fair), that was actually kinda cool.

Then, we get into Things I Find Disturbing! (tm!)

Elongating one's eyes out of one's sockets?  Ok, ew.

Even if Ralph can do that, and I concede he probably can, it's still gross.  I don't even want to know what's holding up the eyeballs.  Seriously, there's something connecting the eyeballs to Ralph's head, and I'm afraid to even speculate as to what they might be.

Here's Ralph elongating his ear, which is equally as disturbing but not quite as disgusting.  Yes, there is a difference between disturbing and disgusting.  :

And I understand why Ralph would stretch his eyes or his ears in this fashion.

But again, ew.

Ear-Chin Falcon Punch!

Didn't see that coming, did you?

See you tomorrow!

Well there is the "optic nerve" but there are also muscles connected to the eye itself.

imagine all that seawater slopping around in his eye sockets.

Unless you stretched the base of the nose, itself, above the water, you couldn't get the nostrils safely clear of the water line. Seems it would have been easier to hold your nose closed and stretch your lips above the water and breath through your mouth.

Just sayin'.

As to the eyeballs, they should probably just float on the surface of the water--I would think they're buoyant, no?

If you wish to further expose Ralph, I can't say that I would complain.

From the looks of these, Elongated Man is the superhero movie that Raimi should have directed. It just has a certain Evil Dead quality.
