Eating Disorderin', Dinosaur Walkin', Housecleanin' Thursday!

Adam is never too proud to accept contributions from you good folks. There is so much material, sitting out there like little sparrows, that I can't possibly catch it all in one lifetime. So, for the first time, here are some contributions from reader Paul George Cornish!

That kid in the middle is what gets me. I mean, my natural instinct is to shove two fingers down my throat every time I see Superman, but I didn't know others felt the same way. Seriously, does that kid have bulimia or something?

Oh, this is just wrong. Making any kind of pop culture reference in a comic book is asking, nay demanding, that you be scorned in years to come. This, for you youngsters out there, is a reference to "Walk the Dinosaur," a terrible song by Was(not Was). You can find it on YouTube if you're morbidly curious, but I refuse to breathe life into by posting it here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Clark have a whole fleet of robots in the Fortress of Solitude? Couldn't they do a little of the dusting around the place?

Thanks, Paul, for some great contributions!

See you all tomorrow!

I'm pretty sure the kid with two fingers in his mouth is trying to whistle. Maybe it's that special whistle he was taught to give whenever a well-muscled man in tights and a cape starts getting all touchy-feely with him and his friends.

Hurray, thanks for posting my contributions. Superman doing the hoovering is my favourite. He should be shown doing mundane things in the Fortress more often. Maybe putting up a shelf.
Actually now that I mention it you never actually see Superman dusting all those creepy waxworks he's got of all his mates.

What do you mean "terrible" song?

That Walk the Dinosaur reference is actually pretty cool, as far as I'm concerned. Then again, it probably has more to do with the fact that Superman is singing a forgotten song while getting some exercise for some dinosaur. It was probably a lot less hilarious when the song was actually considered "cool". If there ever was such a time.

I know very little of Superman, but is it possible that this is some kind of hallucination, in the picture? I mean, he looks quite unusual (beard, no cape) and also strangely chipper, and that dinosaur is quite colourful.

So, a Super-Acid-Flashback? Can it be?

Good point about the pop culture reference. In one of the early 1986/1987 Byrne series, Cat makes a refernce to Don Johnson. And a personal favorite was when (in 1972/73) Brainaic and Luthor said something funy and Superman said, "Even Flip Wilson couldn't come up with something that funny" and there was another issue of that era where Superman said, 'Who did you expect, Twiggy?" Pop culture references are NEVER good for a comic.

My favorite pop culture reference in comics was when Gwen Stacy invited Peter to see "I Am Curious (Yellow)". Why, Gwen, you naughty little minx...

Even in the most sexually liberated and self-satisfied of nations, many people still yearn to burn more, to feel ready for bedding no matter what the clock says and to desire their partner of 23 years as much as they did when their love was brand new.
The market is saturated with books on how to revive a flagging libido or spice up monotonous sex, and sex therapists say “lack of desire” is one of the most common complaints they hear from patients, particularly women.
