Beware the Wind.... Expecially on Taco Monday!

Now that I've seen a roll call of who is going to be in the Wolverine movie, I'm actually interested.

But not as interested as I am in this cover:

On the one hand, it's wrapping paper. On the other hand, it's a comic book cover. But on the third hand, it goes on forever..... it's blowin' my mind, man!

I can't decide if this character from World's Finest v1 #38 goes in the Costume Hall of Fame or the Costume Hall of Shame:

See, he's wearing a traditional suit, which is always bitchin' (see "Green Hornet" and "Golden-Age Sandman"), but he's got a weather vane on the top of his head. Then again, is it extra bitchin' because he wears a weather vane on the top of his head?

You think your grandparents didn't know how to party? Well, check out Exhibit "A":

That's right! There was dancing, minimal physical contact, and blazers everywhere you looked. Your grandparents "got it," my friend. At one point, I think they really go crazy and order a pizza.

See you tomorrow!

Oh, they "got it", all right - if by "it" you mean syphilis and gonorrhea, and the occasional trip to visit the special doctor out of town/state/country. Not MY grandparents, of course...

If you're going to write about a character's costume it's probably a good idea to scan a page that shows the costume, and not a page that depicts said costume obscured by a tornado.

This was the coolest picture of him. His costume was otherwise a nondescript business suit, so I thought seeing him in all his windy glory was a better representation. I included the weather vane on his head... what else do you need?

Having a weather vane on your head, is unexpected of course, but I know some television weather men who could certainly use one.
