Fresh from the cover of Avengers v1 #52, we have the Grim Reaper, because nothing makes you think of death like purple, magenta, orange and green... all at the same time! He quickly shucked those colors and went with an all-black number, but we'll never forget what the Embodiment of Death looked like in the late '60s. Far out, man!

Oh, Quicksilver, the Man With No Patience For Sluggish Slowpokes, is going to love baseball.
I'm kind of impressed that the Reaper was able to off anyone without tripping over those, uh... trippy, far-out boot cuffs.
Is "boot cuffs" questionable in purity if used out of context ? If so, my most humble apologies.
Also, people can mock Jan all they want, but her "That Girl" ensemble is pretty damn cute. Nyah.

Quicksilver and Cap, charming couple. Cap's playing coy, but manages to telegraph exactly what he's up for. "Always", Cap?
If I asked someone out and they replied "As soon as I finish this chapter of Tolkien" I would take it as a sign of their complete lack of interest and also lose all interest myself.
Well, I'd get the freaky geek alarm ringing quite loud. If, on the other hand he had said "Wait 'til I finish reading this week's Legion", it would have been an entirely different thing
