How poor is he really, though? He's got quite a snappy blue suit.
And where is he, anyway? I get the feeling it's supposed to be an auditorium during morning announcements, but the perspective on that wall in the right corner, and the fact that his feet are hidden, make it look like he's on a giant TV screen.
They'll be sorry when Jack achieves fame and fortune through his tales of heroic Yukon pioneers and animals.
