I'm Not Saying I Could Do Any Better....

... and I certainly can't fly, but if I could, I think I'd be doing something a little different with my legs. You're asking for some nasty windshear in the old crotchal region, know what I mean? And there's also the question of it affecting your mileage. Ok, it's just wrong. I don't care that Superboy is on a stamp doing it, it's just wrong!

It looks like that is from approx 1948-1950 and didn't Superman just leap long distances still at that point?

Not that it looks any less ridiculous, but it could explain why he is performing yoga in midair.

Hey, it's a hot day, and he's just trying to cool of "the boys". Or something.

Oh, that ain't a leg.

(Sorry, but somebody had to go there and it might as well be me.)

Is that why Lois always had that look of pure wonderment on her face? If "Little Clark" really IS a third leg, I would have that look on my face, too. You know which one I mean.

O.O

Drawn by Rob Liefeld's anatomy teacher, perhaps.

comicgeek raises an interesting point: Since Superboy was Superman as a boy, and he didn't really graduate to flying until he was Superman for a couple of years, shouldn't all Superboy stories just have him leaping? We all know that wasn't the case.
